Track Program

                     ST. JOAN OF ARC BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ TRACK TEAMS

                                    WINTER SCHEDULE 2010 (revised)

     During the winter indoor season, the Boys’ and Girls’ Track Teams will hold joint practices on Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 10:30 in the 4^th floor gymnasium at Intermediate School 230, 73^rd Street & 34^th Avenue, Jackson Heights (please take the elevator to the 4^th floor). Please note that NO BEVERAGES (except water) will be permitted in the gymnasium.

    Please try to be on time. We must conclude our practices and vacate the gym by 10:30 each Saturday, because another program will follow ours.

    There are two CYO track meets scheduled during the Winter Indoor season – on Feb. 14 and Mar. 7 at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. (Please see below for directions to Pratt.) On the days of the track meets, we will meet at I.S. 145 – on the 79^th Street side of the school – at the times indicated below, and drive to Pratt Institute from there. Parental assistance with transportation will be appreciated.

DIRECTIONS TO PRATT INSTITUTE

      Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to Exit 31 – Whythe Ave. – Kent Ave. Proceed on the service road parallel to the expressway approximately one mile to Hall Street. Turn left and go two blocks to Willoughby. Turn left. Entrance to the campus is ahead on the right. There is a parking lot on campus.

      LAST YEAR, the street sign for Hall Street was missing. Therefore, the street before Hall is RYERSON. The streets after Hall are: WASHINGTON AVE., WAVERLY AVE., and CLINTON AVE. If you come to any of these, you have gone too far.
